What a nice Mother's Day it was : )  I woke up hugging and playing with my kids, and falling back asleep in my daughter's 'toddler' size bed, while they played.  It was Mother's Day, so I think it was okay to sleep again if I wanted, right?  And it wasn't a deep sleep since the bed was a little small, but I fit just enough to get a little snooze in : )  It was relaxing hearing them playing nicely,  too.  Then Dennis and the kids gave my gift: a Nikon CoolPix S200!    A very cool digital camera, super thin and 7.1 MPs... More MPs than we have on our older Canon SD100.  Below is one pix using the new camera.

Later my mom and Godmother had lunch with us at one of our favorite buffets in the area and even though it was packed and took awhile to get seated, it was so worth the wait!  Especially with crab legs on the menu!!  We were stuffed.  I don't think we'll be eating til dinner tomorrow... 

I also have to add a Special Happy Birthday to another best friend from college, Jen, who will say she is 25 (again, for the past ? years).  Hoping she had a great day...  I'll have to call her to meet up at one of our favorite places to eat - Slade's.  We used to LOVE this place - when we do get to meet up, it is usually here.  So either it's still tops on her list or she does it for her friends...  Either way, that's why we're really good friends, cuz that's what friends do : )  Happy Birthday, Jen! And a Hug from your Goddaughter, too!
